Is Nudge really an AI, or is it just templates?
Genuine AI. The coach uses a fine-tuned LLM that has full context of your habit history, mood logs, and prior conversations. It writes its responses fresh every time — never picks from a script.
When is iOS coming?
Android first because we wanted to ship a focused product instead of a watered-down dual-platform release. iOS is on the roadmap for late 2026.
How is this different from Streaks, Finch, or Habitica?
Those are habit trackers — well-designed counters with gamification. Nudge is a coach that uses the tracker as raw material. The product is the conversation and the weekly review, not the checkmark.
Will it shame me when I miss days?
No. The coach is direct ("you missed 3 of 7 mornings") but never moralizing. The goal of every check-in is to understand the pattern, not assign blame.

Who built this?
A small team of three. One ex-Headspace product designer, one ML engineer who spent four years on conversational systems, and a behavioral scientist who couldn't stand the streak-counting genre any more.
